Hello,

Some of you may have Mobile App login issues (Android and iOS).
If that happens, please try the following:
- Login to MyOoma, go to Account/Security, change your Account Password to a temporary new one and [Save]
(you may restore your desired password at a later time), logout from MyOoma and try to log back in to make sure you are using the correct new temporary password,
- Start your Ooma Mobile app using your phone number and new temporary password.
If the Ooma Mobile app still fails to login, please PM (Private Message) me with your phone number and temporary password so I can try myself. Please indicate also your O.S. (Android or iOS), the Ooma mobile app version, you O.S. version, phone model, and the symptoms you are seeing.

Android Apps / Mobil APP Not Working 100% Android

Hello,

Im using a Droid 2 Global and am able to successfully make a call. The problem is the call will not stay connected for more than around 30 seconds tops. I have done the following:
1. Uninstall - Reinstall App along with generating a new Mobile App password.
2. Restarted the Hub (just in case)
3. 2 support request from the mobile phone app interface and one call in request with no response from Ooma
4. Been testing this for over 7 days but every call ends at around 30 seconds 100% of the time
5. Tried different wi-fi connections same problem
So basically all works, but not for very long. The app has 2 other issues as well.
1. The sound quality is very metallic sounding. Def dont get the feeling of HD even when call my home Ooma phone, not even close.
2. Not all of my contacts have transfered. Only about 10% have uploaded to the phone app for some reason.
Any response from Ooma, or anyone else who has made this work on Android 2.2?

Hello,

hopefully you will have some just replying and more important, SOLVING so many questions and problems that we all have.
Mine are as follow:
1) My watch does not receive notifications from any app.
2) can’t send text messages, call or send emails.
3) does not connect to my phone internet, only to wi-fi at home.
4) can’t sync my music.
5) really hard to wake it up, 90% of time does not work when I move my wrist, and only response to touch the screen at least twice.
6) google maps only show my position, any other maps app does not work.
7) keyboard to type usernames that not have “_” so I can not type my email
I really hope some can give a hand with my smart watch that only can use to see the time and date.
So disappointed

Hello,

I had received the watch today and in the exploring mode. I liked the interface and functionality so far. I had already used during my running and its doing its job with charm.
I did run into few issues and I am hoping to get some answers/clarifications.
1. Phone app is disabled - One of the backer from Singapore with a S model showed that the phone app is active. This enables to talk through the watch (answering calls etc). I live in the US and I see that the same app is disabled. I do see the app under settings/app/system apps but not in app tree. Is this app location specific? If not how do I activate this.
2. Android wear app for iphone is pretty basic and wanted to know if there are any apps better than this.
3. Battery drains pretty quickly. I see that it had drained 50% in about 6 hours. I understand that this is new and it may take sometime to adapt which I am hoping it will stay for atleast 24 hours.
4. Reply to texts and email is not possible even using google assistant. Is this observation correct?
